Be ready for a traffic change after the long weekend as Island Highway South will be partially closed.
In a media advisory, the City of Campbell River says the closure is because crews will perform maintenance work, affecting Highway South between Hilchey Road and Forberg Road.
They say the southbound lane will be closed and alternating traffic will be in effect in the northbound lane while crews work.
You are asked to follow the traffic controls in place, with the closure running from April 22 to 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
