Dog licenses due for renewal in Campbell River

It’s time for Campbell River residents to renew the dog licenses for this year.

The City is reminding residents on social media that license renewals are due.

They say while license tags are issued for the entirety of your dog’s life, you need to renew the license every year.

Renewal can be done online either here or at the City’s online payments tab.

The city says if you want to buy a tag, you can do so in-person at City Hall anytime from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays.

For replacing a lost tag, the license fee is $10, $20 if your dog has been spayed or neutered, and $40 if intact for Campbell River.

For those living in Area D of the Strathcona Regional District, the fees are $10 for a lost tag, $10 or $15 for spayed or neutered dogs after February 28, and $40 or $45 for intact after February 28.
