The pool at Strathcona Gardens will be closed for a week next month as part of ongoing construction.
All pool facilities at Strathcona Gardens will be closed from Monday, October 7 to Friday, October 11 to adjust maintenance equipment, says the Strathcona Regional District. They say the REC-REATE construction project may cause changes to pool programming from time to time, and people’s patience and understanding is appreciated.
Strathcona Gardens has begun a multi-year, multi-million dollar improvement project. Crews are currently preparing the site for a new aquatic centre, which will be complete in a few years. When it’s complete they will add a new wellness centre and finish with improvements to ice arenas.
