Canada Day in Campbell River sure to be a blast

There’s going to be lots to do in Campbell River for Canada Day tomorrow / today, including one of the biggest and best fireworks displays in the province.

It starts /started at 8 am with a pancake breakfast at Frank James Park. From 9 am onwards, events will be running in parallel around town. The kids fishing derby at the pier starts at 9, and the Canada Day marketplace on Shoppers Row opens at 10. The kids festival at the Community Centre also starts at 10.

The parade will start at 4 pm, and there will be opening ceremonies and cake at Ostler Park at 6. Fireworks are scheduled for 10:22 pm.
